What is Smart Rewards?
Smart Rewards is designed to recognize, reward and say thank you to our loyal Guests. Each time you use your Smart Rewards Card you will earn 1 reward point for every dollar you spend on eligible purchases. When you accumulate 500 points you will receive either a $5 Savings Reward or you can go online and choose to have a 25-cent Fuel Discount Reward credited to your account. In addition to rewards, you will also receive great offers, special savings, contests and more, all for just doing what you are already doing. Shop. Earn. Save. It’s that easy.
How do I choose between a $5 Savings Reward or a Fuel Discount Reward?
When you enroll in Smart Rewards, everyone automatically receives the $5 Savings Reward. If you want to change your Reward to the Fuel Discount, you can do so at any time on your online member account. Just log on to
www.marketstreetunited.com, enter your user name and password to access your member account and change your Reward Type selection. If you don’t have a member account, just click on Complete Your Enrollment to set it up. You’ll need your card number and phone number provided at enrollment to register the first time.
How do I redeem my $5 Savings Reward?
Once you accumulate 500 points, your $5 Savings Reward will automatically be loaded onto your card. When you check out on your next visit, we will ask if you want to redeem your reward. It’s your call, but all rewards expire 120 days from the date they are issued.
How do I redeem my Fuel Discount Reward?
It’s easy. When you are ready to fill up, just swipe your Smart Rewards card or use the keypad to enter your Smart Rewards member ID number on the back of your card or tags, and it will let you know if you have an eligible Fuel Reward on your account. Then, simply follow the instructions on the pump to receive your discount and complete your fill up (20-gallon maximum). If you are not paying at the pump, present your Smart Rewards card to the attendant to receive your discount.
When do my Rewards expire?
Rewards expire 120 days from the date they are issued.
Why is my Savings Reward not good on certain items?
By law, we are prohibited from offering a discount on certain items, including beer and wine.
Do I have to have my Smart Rewards card to receive my Fuel Discount Reward?
If you are paying at the pump, you must swipe your card through the card reader at the pump, or enter your member ID number found on the back of your card or key tags to receive your Fuel Reward discount. If you are paying with the attendant and don’t have your card, you can provide your member ID number from the back of your tag or your phone number/alternate ID to receive your discount. The Fuel Reward can be redeemed at any DFW Market Street Fuel Station.
Can I redeem multiple rewards at once?
The Smart Rewards program is designed to make it easy for our Guests. If you have accumulated more than one Savings Reward, you can redeem them at the same time. However, Fuel Rewards cannot be combined and must be redeemed one per fill-up.

Enrollment
How do I enroll?
It’s easy. Stop by your nearest DFW Market Street and sign up at one of our enrollment kiosks inside the store. It takes just a minute to enroll, receive your cards/key tags and be on your way to earning your first reward.
Who can enroll in Smart Rewards?
Smart Rewards is open to anyone who shops at Market Street in DFW. Market Street Team Members are also eligible to participate in the program.
Do I have to complete my Smart Rewards enrollment online?
You don’t have to, but completing your Smart Rewards enrollment online is the best way to take full advantage of being a Smart Rewards member. When you complete your enrollment, you will set up an online account that you can use to manage your member information, check points and rewards earned, sign up for special offers and more. Log on to
www.marketstreetunited.com and follow the instructions. You’ll need the number located beneath the barcode on your card or key tag to complete your enrollment. When you complete your enrollment online, you’ll automatically receive 100 bonus points credited to your account.
When I enroll in Smart Rewards, why do I need to provide you with my address?
Our program is household-based, so we need to know which cards belong to which households. One way we may communicate is through customized offers sent through the postal service. You can always control if, how and when we communicate with you. Once you set up your Smart Rewards account online, you have the option of choosing how you want to receive communications from Market Street. You can select postal mail, e-mail, or even text messages. If you don’t want us to contact you at all, you can “opt-out” of receiving communications at any time. Just keep in mind that if you do, you won’t receive any of the special offers, savings and other information that are benefits of being a member.
Why do I need to provide an e-mail address when I enroll?
You don’t have to provide an e-mail address to enroll in Smart Rewards. However, we encourage you to provide one. Many of the special perks of being a member - savings offers, coupons, and other deals designed just for you and your family - are available only via e-mail. Plus, you can set up an online member account by providing an e-mail address.
Why do I receive a message such as my account is invalid or my phone numbers don't match when attempting to complete my enrollment online?
If you enrolled in Smart Rewards within the last 24 hours the system may not yet recognize your account. If this is the case, please try again a little later. If not, please contact Guest Services at 1-855-762-7880 for assistance with your account.

Points
When can I start earning points?
You can start earning points the first time you use your enrolled Smart Rewards card or key tag. Just present the card to the cashier when checking out and start earning your rewards for any eligible purchases -- it's that simple.
What items qualify for earning points?
You will earn points on all in-store purchases except the following items:
• Fuel
• Gift cards
• Tobacco
• Federal, state and local taxes
• Money orders and funds transfers
• Utility payments and comparable items and transactions
• Lottery tickets
• Returns, credits and refunds
• Coupons, discounts and other promotional offers
• Postage stamps
• Any other products sold at face value as a convenience for our guests
Also, we cannot reward certain purchases such as beer, wine and tobacco because of state law, so Savings Rewards cannot be used in connection with purchasing these products. Please note that Market Street reserves the right to exclude additional items at any time during the program. Points may be deducted for the equivalent amount of any item returns or credits. Rewards are earned on out-of-pocket prescription costs only. Rewards are not applicable to prescription drugs paid for in whole or in part by any insurance plan, federal or state government programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid).
How do I know how many points I have?
Every time you make a purchase with your Smart Rewards card, simply check your receipt to see how many points you earned for that transaction, as well as how many you’ve accumulated to date toward your next reward. Also, once you’ve completed your enrollment online and created your online member account, you can log on any time to check your points total and see how many you need for your next reward.
How long does it take for my points to show up online after I have made a purchase?
Please allow approximately 1- 2 hours for points to be added to your online account. If you have just enrolled in-store, please allow up to 24 hours after enrollment for your points to start showing on your online account. Again, you must first complete your enrollment online at
www.marketstreetunited.com.
If I forget my Smart Rewards card, can I still earn points?

How do I know what is going on with the program or get the most up-to-date information?
We have a number of different ways in which to communicate program information:

Can I access my Smart Rewards account online and in-store?
Yes, once you have completed your Smart Rewards enrollment online at
www.marketstreetunited.com, simply log on and enter your user name and password to access your member page. You can also access your account information in-store by visiting our Smart Rewards Kiosk. Simply scan your car or key tag, or enter the user name and password you created on-line to access your account.

How can I update my password?
Visit
www.marketstreetunited.com and go to Smart Rewards. On the login page in the upper right corner, click on “Forgot Password", and follow the instructions to create a new password.

Can I exit the program or stop communications?
Yes, you can do so at any time. If you decide to end your participation or want to stop receiving promotional communications, you can do one of the following:

Smart Rewards Card
If I forget my Smart Rewards card, can I still earn points?
Yes. When you enroll in Smart Rewards, you will be asked to provide a phone number that you can also use as your alternate ID at checkout, in case you don’t have your card or key tag. Provide the checker this phone number when checking out, and you’ll get full credit for your transaction, just as if you had scanned your card or tag.
What if I lose my Smart Rewards card? How can I get a new card?
Visit Guest Services at any DFW Market Street to let them know your card has been lost, to re-enroll, and to obtain a new card. Any points on your account, when you report it missing, can be transferred to a new account. The points accumulated on your lost card will appear on your new account.
If I lose my Smart Rewards card, can anyone get my personal information?
No. To access your member information online, you must provide the user name and password for that account. Please do not share your password with anyone.
Can family members use my card or should family members get their own card?
Any family member can use your card. Upon enrollment, each account receives one Smart Rewards card and three key tags for multiple people within the family to use. Plus, at enrollment you should have designated a phone number, which can be used in lieu of your card or key tag by any member of your family. If you ever need an additional card/tag set for your family, enroll at the kiosk for another account and then ask a Guest Services representative to link your new card number to your original account. Please note that when linking accounts, you must have the original account number to which you want to link your new account. There is a limit of three additional accounts that can be added to any one account. Please allow 1-2 business days for a new account to be associated with the original account. Also, please note only members of the same household can link accounts or combine points.
Can I combine my account with my spouse’s account?
Yes, you may combine your account with your spouse’s or any other family member’s account living in the same household. Simply visit Guest Services in store and let them know you would like to combine accounts. You will both need to be present to combine accounts and each have your Smart Rewards card or tag, and a driver’s license or other form of identification.
Do I have to have my Smart Rewards card to receive my Fuel Discount Reward?
If you are paying at the pump, you must swipe your card through the card reader at the pump, or enter your member ID number found on the back of your card or key tags to receive your Fuel Reward discount. If you are paying with the attendant and don’t have your card, you can provide your member ID number from the back of your tag or your phone number/alternate ID to receive your discount. Is my Smart Rewards card good at all Market Street stores?
Your Smart Rewards card is good only at DFW area Market Street stores. Locations outside the DFW area are excluded from this promotion at this time.
Do I have to use my card to get weekly sale prices?
No, Smart Rewards is designed to recognize and reward our Guests for shopping at Market Street. You don’t have to be a member or use your card to get our weekly ad prices. On occasion, we may offer specific deals and special values only for Smart Rewards members; however, these are always in addition to the weekly sale prices available to all our Guests.
Can I use manufacturers' coupons when I'm shopping with my card?
You can always use coupons when you shop at Market Street; however, your points will be calculated on the purchase total of eligible items after your coupons have been deducted.

How does the program work?
It’s easy… just use your Smart Rewards card every time you shop at Market Street in DFW between October 19, 2011 and March 6, 2012. For every qualifying $10 you spend in a single transaction, you’ll earn one e-sticker, which will be automatically added to your Smart Rewards account. Spend $20 and you’ll earn two e-stickers added to your account, and so on. After you earn a certain number of e-stickers, you can redeem them for a free or discounted Grundig small kitchen appliance. Do I have to sign up to participate in the Grundig promotion?
No, if you are already a Smart Rewards member, you automatically earn e-stickers for the Grundig kitchen appliances promotion. All you have to do is shop at Market Street and use your Smart Rewards card to start earning e-stickers toward your first small kitchen appliance.
What is an e-sticker?
An e-sticker is a digital version of the paper stickers you may be familiar with that were used in our cookware program last year. Since we’ve introduced our Smart Rewards program, there’s no need to keep up with paper stickers anymore. Now e-stickers are automatically credited to your account. If you’ve registered your Smart Rewards account online, you can log on anytime to see your current e-stickers total.
What happened to the saver card and stickers?
Since the Grundig promotion is part of the Smart Rewards program, you no longer have to carry and keep track of a paper card and stickers, as you may have done in the previous cookware promotion. Now, simply use your Smart Rewards card when you shop and any e-stickers earned are automatically loaded to your Smart Rewards account.
Why did this change?
When we asked our Guests about it, one of their big complaints was keeping up with their card and stickers. They lost stickers, forgot to put them on their card, and even lost their cards with all their stickers. Now with Smart Rewards and e-stickers, that’s all handled automatically. Just present your Smart Rewards card every time you shop, and we’ll take care of the rest!
How do I know how many e-stickers I’ve earned?
Every time you shop at Market Street and use your Smart Rewards card, any e-stickers earned and your total e-stickers earned to date will be printed on your receipt. You can also login to your Smart Rewards account at any time and get the latest e-stickers totals for your account. We’ve made the redemption process really simple and easy! You can redeem your e-stickers any time you have the required number of e-stickers. Redeem e-stickers at check out when making a purchase, or at the Guest Services desk inside Market Street. Simply select your Grundig small kitchen appliance and present your Smart Rewards card at checkout. Tell the cashier you want to redeem e-stickers for a free or reduced price appliance. Once you have redeemed your e-stickers, keep shopping to earn more!
Can I redeem e-stickers for multiple appliances?
Yes! You are welcome to redeem your e-stickers for one or any number of appliances for which you have qualified. You can redeem your e-stickers any time you have enough for an appliance and then continue to earn more e-stickers to redeem for additional appliances. There is no limit to the number of e-stickers you can earn or appliances you can collect.
Are there limits to how many appliances I collect?
There is no limit to the number of appliances you can collect.
Can I buy an appliance without redeeming e-stickers?
Yes. You can purchase any appliance at full price without redeeming e-stickers.
Can I use both my e-stickers and cash to get an appliance?
Yes. There are two ways to collect any appliance ... Free with the corresponding number of e-stickers, or at a discounted price with the corresponding number of e-stickers. Please click

Once I redeem for an appliance, can I keep earning e-stickers?
Yes. Simply keep shopping, and you will earn e-stickers through March 6, 2012.
What if I want to give my e-stickers to someone else?
You are welcome to “gift” your e-stickers to any other Smart Rewards member. Simply click on the “Gifting” icon on the e-stickers page of the Smart Rewards website and follow the instructions. You can gift all or part of your current e-stickers total at any time during the promotional period. Please keep in mind that to gift your e-stickers to another Smart Rewards member, you must have a Smart Rewards online account. If you don’t have one, it’s simple to register. Last year I donated my stickers to my local charity. Can I donate e-stickers?
Yes. If the non-profit organization has a Smart Rewards card, you can gift e-stickers online. Simply click on the Gifting icon on the e-stickers page of the Smart Rewards website and follow the instructions.
Can I earn e-stickers at any Market Street?
You can earn e-stickers at any Market Street in the DFW area.
I have stickers from a store in West Texas. How can I convert those to e-stickers?
Just stop by your nearest DFW Market Street and visit Guest Services. Make sure you bring your paper stickers and they will convert them into e-stickers. Remember, to participate in the Small Kitchen Appliances program in DFW, you must be a Smart Rewards member. If you are not already a member, they can also help you enroll at the same time.
What if my appliance breaks, or is defective?
Between October 19, 2011 and March 20, 2012, if you have a defective appliance during the Grundig program, bring your appliance to a store and Market Street will replace the appliance. If you have a defective appliance after the end of the program, please contact Grundig’s after-sales service at 1-855-542-8915 for a replacement.

Digital Coupons
How can I receive digital coupons from Market Street?
Currently, digital coupons, including Smart Coupons, are only available to Smart Rewards members that have chosen to receive email from Market Street. Guests who are not members in Smart Rewards will still need to print their coupons.
Can manufacturer coupons be added to the card?
Digital coupons are coupons earned at checkout, or received in email from Market Street. At this time, manufacturer coupons cannot be added to the card and will need to be printed.
What if I don’t have an online account?
You can still add digital coupons to your card, even if you don’t have an online account.
Do I have to print anything?
No, digital offers do not have to be printed in order to be redeemed. There’s no paper, no printing, no clipping!
Do I have to bring anything to the store?
With digital coupons, you do not have to print anything. You don’t even have to bring your card if you have enrolled with a phone number as an alternate ID.
How do I redeem my offer?
Simply present your Smart Rewards card or use your phone number at check out. It’s that easy.
Can I redeem a digital coupon more than once?
Digital coupons can only be redeemed one time per Smart Rewards card.
When I click the link to add the coupon to my card, I get a message that the offer has already been loaded to my card. What does that mean?
Digital coupons can only be added to a Smart Rewards card one time. If you received this message, the offer has already been added to your card. You can log into your online account to see what offers are available on your card.
Do the digital coupons expire?
Our digital coupons expire at different rates, depending on the offer. When you add the coupon to your card, the expiration date will be on the confirmation page. You can also see the expiration dates on the Smart Coupon tab of your online account.
Can I print a list of the coupons on my card?
When you log into your online account, you can print a list of all of the digital coupons on your card.
How long does it take until my coupons are active on my card?
Coupons are generally available within a few minutes but can take up to an hour before they can be used in the store.
Can I use my digital coupons at any Market Street store?
You can use your digital coupons at any DFW Market Street.
